5 ⭐️ I’ve been to some good chippys and majority around the Wirral are bad ones! All I can say is Helen’s Chippy is the Mecca of all Chip Shops at the moment in my opinion - freshly cooked chips, Fish is cooked nicely, but the Salt n Pepper Chips well they were like out there on planet Mars THEY WERE were amazing!! Me the wife and our little furry friend thoroughly enjoyed it (who had a couple of nice sausages bye) and we got some free chips thrown in as well, nice touch Helen thank you 😊 go figure 🥳 👍🏼

1st class, generous portions, and at a great price to. We are regular customers and have NEVER!! had any issues. Probably the best chip shop on the Wirral, staff are exceptional and often go the extra mile and to top it all they serve excellent food.

Phone ordered a lot of food, £55 worth, feeding a lot of people. It was a bit busy so waited 5 - 10 minutes in the shop. Order was spot on, not a thing missed. Won ton Noodle soup very nice, really good noodles in them which did not seem the normal instant noodles you get in soup. Mixed starter, the grown up kids were very appreciative. Daughter who never eats spicey is obsessed with their salt and pepper chips. Really liked the kung po , nice kick and very hot chillies. Chop suey very very nice , subtle and not as over salted as you can get in some places. The spring rolls you get if you order over £30 are a surprise as they are a mix of types , some vegetable some duck, the duck had a pleasant slightly spicey kick. Really liked the special chow mien. Now have an issue that we now know of two Chinese takeaways close to home we really like.

Visiting family on the wirral. Found helens what a great find, lovely food and huge portions, we even changed our plans instead of going to eat in a restaurant we ordered here. The only downside for us is that we live 180 miles away.
